Gourdemon - Mack

Based off of John Czeski. He basically made metal molds of human heads, then put baby pumpkins in them. The pumpkins would grow into the shape of the face, cracking the metal shell with a sharp snap once they got big enough. Cool, right? Here's a link [link]

Background: Melseage, at birth, are small seed-like larvae. Their mothers coat them with their salivia, which hardens quickly, and once it comes into contact with the baby, it grows into a large steel shell. The baby grows inside of the shell, not needing to eat or drink as the shell gives it the nutrients it needs. Once the Melseage is old enough, the shell will crack open and the grown Melseage will hunt for food.

Abilities: Melseage have limited movement within the shell, but it is also very hard and not easily broken. Gestation time takes about three weeks, but in the wielders case, it takes about twenty minutes. They also have limited chlorokinesis, have a quickly hardening salivia, and have superhuman strength and speed, and have night vision.

Weaknesses: Melseage's skin are not as strong as the metal suit, and can be broken easily if hit hard enough. They are also very weak againts bright lights, as their planet is usually very dark.
